Clown Burger, a conventional hamburger stand unchanged considering the fact that it opened in 1959, will transform arms to a new owner Dec. 16, owner Kari Snodgrass introduced in a weekend Facebook article.
After a sequence of mishaps including a damaged foot and back again, Snodgrass wrote that her relatives has resolved to offer the landmark burger stand, 5010 Stanley Keller Street, to yet another Haltom Metropolis family.
Willis Odell, a businessman and bar owner, posted on Facebook that he and his son, Matt, will be the new house owners. Odell, a previous candidate for Town Council in Haltom Town, included that he “will no extended be in politics.”
“it is time to section ways” with Clown Burger, Snodgrass wrote in an on the net concept.
“We really feel it’s time for a new family to arrive in and adore it as a great deal as we have.”
Clown Burger is a throwback to the period of push-ins, Elvis Presley and poodle skirts.
Initial at its authentic location at 5512 E. Belknap St., then on Stanley Keller Road, it serves aged-school skinny-patty double cheeseburgers that flavor mostly of cheese, mustard and chopped white onions, alongside with scorching canines and clean-minimize, slender french fries.
